How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?
I know that the vampires drink blood, but they don't pump that blood in these novels... I can understand that it's physically possible for them to have sex (Edward is hard as stone, right?) but without blood they can't have vasoconstriction and therefore no release and therefore no orgasm. I don't understand how it can be as great as they say in Midnight sun without orgasm. Any explanations?
